Cruising: The Perfect Vacation Option for People with Disabilities

Our founder, Shelley Peterman Schwarz, has lived with a severe disability for most of her adult life. She has found that a cruise provides true relaxation for both the person with a disability and family members who are usually her care providers. Since you board and unpack once and the ship takes you from port to port, you and yours can simply sit back and enjoy all the amenities that this floating city has to offer -- from first class dining to live entertainment, movies to golf, lounging by the pool, and any number of things in between. Just like staying home -- only better! Everything is provided including medical and personal assistance so you and your caregiver can take a well deserved break.

If you wonder if a cruise is for you or you just want to live vicariously through Shelley's eyes of experience, cruise through the entries in this section.

"Once you have traveled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers, that the mind can never break off from the journey."  ~  Pat Conroy
