When You Have Just Learned You Have a Chronic Illness

Have you just found out that you or a loved one has a chronic illness like Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's disease, or arthritis? Perhaps it was a relief to find out that there is a name for all the odd symptoms that have been affecting your life, your energy, and everyone around you, yet now the questions have started -- "Why me?" "What Now?" "What does the future hold?" or "Where do we go from here?"

Doctors and other medical professionals can provide informative literature and address physical symptoms; sometimes that can make you so scared of what the road ahead might offer that you want to give up right now. We have all been there. We know the fears and questions that arise. We may not have all the answers for you -- after all everyone is different -- but we can help you see the future and find the answers that work for you.

If you or a loved one has just been diagnosed with a chronic illness, know that we are here to help you on your journey. Feel free to share your fears, ask non-medical questions, or just reach out for a little understanding. Email us at help@MakingLife Easier.com.

"Human pain ... works its way out of our consciousness over time. There is a season of sadness. A season of anger.  A season of tranquility.  A season of hope."  ~  Robert Veninga
