Strategies for Living
Travel tip - pack a small bag with meds, snacks, etc.

If you have a disability, or even if you don't, be prepared for delays while traveling.

Pack a small overnight bag with emergency supplies in zipper-lock plastic bags. Be sure to include your daily medications, mints, gum, high protein snacks (nuts, energy bars)*, candy, a pack of cards, a book or book reader, and a change of clothes.

If  you have everything you need in one small bag, it makes checking into a hotel for the night on an car trip easier. If flying, and your bags are lost or you are delayed along the way, you will have what you need to get by.

*Remember you cannot carry liquids into airports or on planes, however if you have special dietary needs and the liquid is frozen, TSA has rules to allow you and your liquids to be screened.
